Throw me something mister!
On Thursday, the 19th, we decided to take Madelyn to her first Mardi Gras parade.

Mardi Gras parade in Metairie. We didn't stay out very long, boy was it windy!
I think Madelyn was more interested in the people standing around us than in the floats or beads.

Back at home where it wasn't so windy, Madelyn realized she had beads, something to try and put in her mouth!

Daddy's little girl! It was nice to have Dan home. It was beauitful outside all day. What a nice day off to work in the yard and spend time with his girls.

Madelyn leaning on Dan's shoulder. How cute, she loves it when daddy is home. I think Madelyn is starting to look more like Dan. Everyone is always saying she looks like me. Her looks are really changing.

On Friday, the 20th, Dan was on call so Madelyn and I headed up to the Northshore to stay with Shanny and Paw Paw Dale. That night, we went to Hammond for a bit to enjoy another parade with Uncle Dale, Honey, and baby Husser, due in May.

Madelyn loves Honey. We had a nice view of the parade from Honey's store. It was another cool night out.

Madelyn loves Uncle Dale too. She wanted to thank him for catching all of those beads for her.
